Sunita Kejriwal, Arvind Kejriwal’s wife and national convenor for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), reacted to her husband’s arrest a day after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) took action in a money-laundering case. She said that her husband’s arrest was a betrayal of the people of Delhi because he always stood with the people of the national capital.
Sunita stated in a social media post that Arvind is unwavering in his devotion to his country and fellow citizens, regardless of whether he is incarcerated or free. She scrutinized State head Narendra Modi for supposedly quieting the voice of a three-time chose boss clergyman due for a maltreatment of force.
“Modi ordered the arrest of our three-time elected Chief Minister in arrogance. He is trying to keep everyone down. This comprises a treachery of individuals of Delhi. Your Chief Minister has consistently remained by you. His dedication to the nation never wavers, inside or out. The public recognizes his integrity. Jai Hind,” the post mentioned.
The Enforcement Directorate apprehended Arvind Kejriwal in connection with a money-laundering case involving an excise policy violation. Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh, two senior party leaders, are currently in custody. The Delhi High Court and the investigating agency denied Kejriwal’s request for relief from coercive actions despite numerous summonses, which led to his arrest.
At a trial, the ED mentioned a 10-day detainment for Kejriwal, naming him as the brains behind the Delhi alcohol strategy embarrassment.
